to the Association to defend the Iranian Workers – expresses its support to the struggle of the Iranian workers for better workers and trade union rights in their country.

ACV-CSC expresses its support to the struggle of the Iranian workers for better workers and trade union rights in their country. The Government of Iran should respect the universally accepted ILO Conventions included in the Fundamental Principles and rights at work Declaration of the ILO (1998).
Even in crisis situations, such as the current COVID pandemic, the Government of Iran must guarantee the basic conditions for protection of workers and their family: guaranteeing occupational health and safety of workers should be the first priority for employers and government during this crisis. Wages must be paid, trade union work must be guaranteed to all workers during this pandemic.
ACV-CSC wishes the workers in the different sites and sectors that are on action a lot of success with their struggle.
